Pubnight is the first Thursday of the month and we always celebrate it at our usual 'haunt' in Shibuya - Hobgoblin. Come out from 19:30 onwards!
In January, we held our AGM and elected the Board of Governors for 2011. As always, we welcome ideas on events that you would like to participate in. Please, please - let us know!!
Last year we had the fun of watching Canada win the Men's Ice Hockey Olympic Gold Medal at 5 am in the morning and congratulated the Japanese Sledge Hockey team who defeated Canada in the Paralympics. They even shared their silver and golds with us!
Besides our monthly pub nights, we were able to celebrate the 35th Annual Great Canadian Barbecue at Ambassador Fried's residence. This day, was full of smiles, although the sun did not beat down on us. Neither... luckily, did the rain.
Canada Day 2011 - was celebrated in Shibuya, in Tokyo on the 1st of July, 2011. LIVE music, Canadian tunes, boat races and sooooooo much fun.
We have many new family members and want to do more family oriented events. Please give us ideas!
